1 - Compatibility & Installation
A software publisher's legal obligation is to support the current operating system as well as its previous version.
As of today, this means the following for Apple computers:
- MacOS 26 (Tahoe)
- MacOS 15.01 (Sequoia)
- MacOS 14.7 (Sonoma)
In practice, the following MacOS versions are also supported:
- MacOS 13: Ventura (Rome) – October 24, 2022 (latest version: 13.2.1)
- MacOS 12: Monterey (Star) – October 25, 2021 (latest version: 12.7.6)
- MacOS 11: Big Sur (GoldenGate) – November 12, 2020 (latest version: 11.7.10)
- MacOS 10.15: Catalina (Jazz) – October 7, 2019 (latest version: 10.15.7, security update 2022-005)
For PCs, our software supports the following operating systems:
- Windows 11
- Windows 10
However, it is not compatible with Linux or any operating systems other than Windows or MacOS.
Yes, you can perform as many installations as you wish, on either Mac or PC. However, you can only use it on one device at a time by activating and deactivating your license key. If you wish to work on two computers simultaneously, you will need to acquire an additional key and therefore purchase a new license. See question 12. To add a machine to the list, you must create a new hoop in the Tools -> Options -> Custom Embroidery Hoops -> Add menu. Create your hoop, then restart the software.

2 - Licence & Software Key
Green: The key is connected and functional; the software can be started without any issues.
Orange: The key could not be verified; the software will not run.
Red: The software cannot start due to a licensing issue. If the message appearing in the dialog box is "Key is logged on another computer," you must deactivate the key on one of the two activated computers. If you see a different message, it may mean that you have incorrectly entered your serial number or activation code, or that your computer is not connected to the internet. Please note that some firewalls may block the connection and prevent key validation.
Blue: The key is pending validation.

3 - Formats & Files
Yes, it is possible to open all types of machine files (.DST, .pes, .jef, .xxx, .dsz...) in our software, but it is technically not possible to access all the software's features. However, you can still reorganize your sequences, resize designs, and adjust certain parameters.
No, unless you obtain the software file in .DRAW or .ngs format, which are the native file extensions for DRAWings and eXPerience.
4 - Utility & Learning

If you are short on time, unsatisfied with your results, or don't feel comfortable using our software, you can certainly outsource this work. However, be careful: ensure that you receive an authentic ".DRAW" or ".ngs" file. In fact, most online service providers will not provide these original source files, which results in poorly configured designs that are difficult to modify. 5 - Differences between softwares
The main difference between DRAWings and eXPerience lies in the target audience. DRAWings is aimed at the creative hobbyist market, while eXPerience is dedicated to professional embroiderers. Today, these two worlds often overlap: many professionals use DRAWings, and some hobbyists choose to start with eXPerience Pilot for budget reasons.

Major upgrades, such as moving from DRAWings XI to XII or from eXPerience 6 to 8, are indeed paid and occur approximately every 2-3 years. You can find them here. However, minor updates are free and are performed directly on your computer if you have authorized them. Otherwise, you can check if your software is up to date at any time by clicking on "Check for updates..."

6 - Buying & Support
We are the only official resellers of DRAWings and eXPerience software for French-speaking countries. We provide fast troubleshooting, usually within the same day, thanks to our highly responsive technical support. If you purchase your software elsewhere, you do so at your own risk; we cannot provide follow-up support or maintenance for those licenses.

We are the only official reseller authorized by the developer of DRAWings and eXPerience, Wings Systems Ltd. However, there are other resellers for these programs. Therefore, whether it is for technical troubleshooting or a request for help with software features, you must contact the specific reseller from whom you purchased your software.
7 - Miscellaneous
Yes, absolutely; they have even been optimized for both Mac and PC laptops. The auto-hiding menus allow for a large workspace, letting you create any design freely.
